The OHS Ballroom Retreat is coming up on May 31st & June 1st!!! (This coming weekend)
We are excited to have our outgoing teams (2012-13) and incoming teams (2013-14) together for this weekend of dancing and fun! Here is the basic schedule for Retreat so you can plan:
May 31st 2:00pm – 5:00pm at OHS Dance Room
May 31st 6:30pm – 10:30pm at Movies 8
June 1st 9:00am – 11:00am at OHS Dance Room
June 1st 7:00pm – 11:00pm Party at Brad & Michelle’s House
Please let us know if you will be unable to attend any part of Retreat. Some parts of the Retreat will cost money so we need to know if you can’t make it.

2013-14 First List
This list the First List of the OHS Ballroom Team for 2013-14. This list is tentative. Specific team membership may change in the near future, including changing teams. This will be based on student participation, progress, commitment and other important factors (such as grades) in the next few weeks.
Everyone on this list (Varsity and JV team members) should attend the Retreat
May 31 – June 1, 2013.
Please email or text us (our contact info is on the first page of the Team Agreement)
to indicate you have read this message and you can attend the Retreat.
* We have not yet received the Team Agreement with the student and parent signatures from these students. Team membership is contingent on having this form turned in to Brad and Michelle.
Tickets for the concert are now available online at MySchoolFees.com! You can even give a team member credit there too.
This coming Friday and Saturday (May 10 & 11) at 7:00 pm at OHS Auditorium. Only $5!
If you have never used MySchoolFees before, here is how it works:
- Go to MySchoolFees.com
- Click on “Sign In” (have an account) or “Register as New User” (new account)
- Choose Utah for “Select State”
- Choose Alpine for the district
- Choose Orem High for the school
- Click “Continue to Public Payments Page” (unless you have a student account)
- Select Ballroom Dance
- Select the concert date you would like
- Enter the number of tickets you would like and click “Add to Cart”
- Click “Continue to Checkout”
- Enter your name and select “This payment is NOT for a student”
- If you want to give a ballroom team member credit for the tickets, put their name in the Comment field.
- Click “Check Out”
- Enter your credit card information
- Click Pay Fees
- Your tickets will be available at the ticket office the night of the show by 6:30 pm
OHS Ballroom Team Tryouts May 14-17, 2013
The tryouts for the OHS Ballroom Team for 2013-2014 will be May 14 – 17, 2013 in the OHS Dance Room!
Students who will be in 9-12 grade during the 13-14 school year are eligible to audition for the team. Experience is always helpful but not required. You don’t need to bring a partner to try out. We will teach you what you need to know for tryouts. Contact us here if you have any questions.

Thank you to everyone who came to the Tiger Classic! It was a great comp thanks to everyone who attended! Here are the marks for the competition. The new Leaderboard for this year will be updated soon.
Please note there were a lot of items left at the Fieldhouse. These items will be at the OHS Main Office if you left something behind.
Here is the final schedule for the Tiger Classic. Some rounds were added. Times changed only slightly.

2012 Tiger Classic Final Schedule

The schedule for the Tiger Classic has been updated. Some rounds were removed and the order of some events was changed slightly. Please review the schedule to be prepared to dance at the correct time. Please be prepared to dance 30 minutes before your scheduled time. The doors will open at 7 am and the events will begin at 8 am. See you Saturday!
