The DVDs for tour are now available in the office at school. They have the videos of all 3 shows from tour, the entire workshop with Heather Smith, and several hundred pictures taken by Disneyland, me, and several other team members. They are $7.

We are finishing up work on the DVDs for last year. For the tour, we have pictures from:

Does anyone else have pics from tour they could bring us? We will put them on the tour DVD. Please let us know this week!

Also, please let us know how many copies you would like of each of the DVDs we are making:

- Tour DVD
- Holiday Concert DVD
- Year End DVD (will include year-end concert)

This will help us know how many copies to create. We will put them in the office and let you know when they are ready for purchase.

After Tour Party!

Thanks for the great tour! That was probably the best tour we have ever been on in terms of no big problems, everyone basically on time to things, following rules, having fun, and being able to do all the things we planned!

As we talked about on the bus, we’ll have an after tour party this Thursday at our house starting at 7:00 pm. Bring your pictures, souvenirs, stories, and anything else you want to bring to reminisce about the tour. Tour chaperones are definitely invited! All team members are invited to come. (even those who didn’t go on tour)

We will watch the videos of all three performances.

If you can burn the pictures your took onto a CD and give that to us, we will compile all the pictures from everyone onto a tour DVD that will have all three performances, the workshop with Heather Smith, and everyone’s pictures.

Tour Latin Medley show tonight

For those of you in the Tour Latin Medley, the show time tonight has changed. Please be at the Covey Center in Provo at 7:45 pm tonight. The Covey Center is at 425 West Center Street in Provo, right next to Provo City Hall. Here it is on Google Maps. Please come with your hair, makeup, and costume essentials ready.

Pay for tour online with MySchoolFees

For those of you who still need to pay for tour, you can do so during Spring Break online through the www.myschoolfees.com website. Parents, after registering and logging in, select Orem High from the SELECT SCHOOL drop-down menu.� Then add your student (“Click Here To Add A Student”) to your account. You can then choose which fees you would like to pay.

For those who don’t want to use the website, please make sure you are all paid by Monday (April 21). Thanks!

Tour Fee Coming Up

The deadline is approaching for Tour Fees. This deadline was originally set for April 15th. Brad and I realized that is right in the middle of Spring Break, making it rather difficult to pay anything to the Financial Office on that day. We encourage everyone to pay the rest of their amount by this Friday April 11th.

However, we understand some may have been counting on waiting until the 15th. We will extend the deadline to the Monday after Spring Break, April 21st. Please have your money turned in if you plan to go by the 21st. We will be making our hotel payment the same week as the 21st.

The total amount for tour given the number of students going is currently at $460 per person. This is less than we estimated in November when we had the parents meeting. The actual cost per person will fluctuate until all people going have paid the full amount (confirming they are in fact going). So, once the deadline has passed and we have an accurate assesment of those who are committed to attend Tour we will be able to give a final cost. We plan to continue to fundraise through the rest of the year. A portion of that money will go towards the tour, which will reduce the cost per person. If the cost per person drops below the amount each person has already paid, we will refund the excess.

Tomorrow during Team we will hand out a copy to each student of what they have fundraised towards their tour payment as well as the balance of money still needed.

Tour Fee Deadline Approaching

The deadline for paying the tour fees is coming up in 2 weeks on 4/15/08. The “full amount” for the tour fee varies slightly from student to student because each has earned a different amount by participating in the various fundraisers. The actual cost of the tour has also gone down by about $30 per person to $460. Most team members need to pay around $400 right now. There are only 6 or 7 students who have paid the full amount at this time. There are 6 or 7 others who have paid a portion of the fee.

As we have said a couple of times in team, if we have at least 5 men and a total of at least 15 students pay and come on the tour, we will go. We have to have 15 students for Disneyland to let us come perform. We feel we have to have 5 men to realistically do the routines. We would like everyone to come on the tour if possible.

Please make all tour payments to the financial office at the school.

Tour and Money

Don’t forget to pay your tour fees this week! Even if you can’t pay half of the tour fee, please pay something, even if it is small. This will show us you care about the tour and would like to go on it. If there is some reason you don’t think you can go, please contact us and we will discuss your situation with you.
