BYU Ballroom Concert tickets

Team and Parents,

The BYU Ballroom program puts on a concert at the end of each school year. This concert features all 5 Ballroom performing teams at BYU and is a wonderful concert. It will be an amazing show and a great opportunity to see some of the best Ballroom dancing and performances in the country. This is a performance, not a competition, and it will have amazing lighting, music, and costumes.

The concert for 2011 will be April 8-9 (Fri-Sat) at 7:30 pm each night, with a matinee at 2:00 on Saturday. (the weekend before Spring Break) The show will be about 2 hours. Reserved arena seats are $12/person and floor seats are $25/person. More info can be found at www.byutickets.com.

Because we are alumni of the BYU Ballroom program and have family members currently on the team, we have the opportunity to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public and will be able to get better seats. Accordingly, if you would like us to purchase tickets for you, please let us know which performance you would like and how many tickets. You will pay for them at the OHS Financial Office.

This activity is optional, but we strongly recommend it, as you will not see a better Ballroom performance anywhere – especially for students that are considering dancing at BYU or another college.

Tickets go on sale to the public this Wednesday (March 16), but we can purchase tickets tomorrow (March 15). So, please let us know by TOMORROW (March 15) if you are interested in tickets.

The schedule has been updated. Some event times have been changed, most notably the PeeWee, Elementary and Pre-Teen events. The events are now grouped together in the 9:00 am session and the last 2 sessions of the day.�A couple other event start times were slightly changed. You can review the updated schedule here:

The OHS Ballroom Teampresents their Spring Concert �Don�t Stop the Music!�� Performances will be May 15th & 16th at 7:00 pm in the OHS Elison Auditorium.� Tickets will be on sale soon for $5 per person.

This exciting show will feature�several�of our most popular and new numbers including �Fasten Your Seatbelts�� – our new funky Blacklight routine, as well as other new routines!� Also featured in our show will be several of this year�s top national youth dancers.� Please join us for a wonderful and entertaining evening of many different styles of ballroom dance!

You can access all the medley videos here. I would suggest downloading the video files to your hard drive before trying to view them. They each are pretty large (abround 90 MB each) so they can be in good enough quality for you to see the dance moves. Same username and password as before. (check your email)

Tour Latin Medley show tonight

For those of you in the Tour Latin Medley, the show time tonight has changed. Please be at the Covey Center in Provo at 7:45 pm tonight. The Covey Center is at 425 West Center Street in Provo, right next to Provo City Hall. Here it is on Google Maps. Please come with your hair, makeup, and costume essentials ready.

BYU Ballroom Concert tickets

BYU will have its end-of-year concert for all of its ballroom teams (5 of them) on April 11-12. The shows are:

- Friday (Apr 11) at 7:30 pm
- Saturday (Apr 12) at 2:00 pm
- Saturday (apr 12) at 7:30 pm

Evening tickets are $12/each, matinee tickets are $10/each, and �floor seats� are $25/each.

The tickets go on sale to the public tomorrow at 8:00 am. Michelle�s brother Kurt will be sleeping out to get the best tix possible.

If you are interested in getting tix through him, please let us know today (3/17/08). We will need to arrange the payment today also.
