Tour Fee Coming Up

The deadline is approaching for Tour Fees. This deadline was originally set for April 15th. Brad and I realized that is right in the middle of Spring Break, making it rather difficult to pay anything to the Financial Office on that day. We encourage everyone to pay the rest of their amount by this Friday April 11th.

However, we understand some may have been counting on waiting until the 15th. We will extend the deadline to the Monday after Spring Break, April 21st. Please have your money turned in if you plan to go by the 21st. We will be making our hotel payment the same week as the 21st.

The total amount for tour given the number of students going is currently at $460 per person. This is less than we estimated in November when we had the parents meeting. The actual cost per person will fluctuate until all people going have paid the full amount (confirming they are in fact going). So, once the deadline has passed and we have an accurate assesment of those who are committed to attend Tour we will be able to give a final cost. We plan to continue to fundraise through the rest of the year. A portion of that money will go towards the tour, which will reduce the cost per person. If the cost per person drops below the amount each person has already paid, we will refund the excess.

Tomorrow during Team we will hand out a copy to each student of what they have fundraised towards their tour payment as well as the balance of money still needed.
