BYU has posted the schedule for the comp this weekend. You can see it here:
If you have not turned in your BYU form you need to do so immediately. OR if you are considering adding any categories to what you have already registered for you need to do so immediately. BYU is probably going to close registration for this competition between today or early next week. If they do that no one will be able to enter any more categories. We have told BYU that there are about three of you who need to register late, but once they close registration they may or may not let you register.
If you have not turned in a form yet do it quickly. It is an assignment to dance at BYU worth 100 points. The only one excused at this time is Aubree Schill who already made other arrangements.

After the mid-year tryouts over the past couple of days, we have decided to place the following students on the team for this year:

These students need to talk with you counselor tomorrow about changing your schedule to put the Team during A1. You also should come to the practice tomorrow night at 7:30 pm and team during A1 on Friday.

We forgot to tell you today in team that we will have mid-year tryouts tomorrow and Wednesday at 3:00 pm in the Dance Room. Please tell any friends you have that are interested in being on team this year to come tomorrow at 3:00 pm. We will tell them about the team, answer any questions, teach a little cha cha, waltz, and/or team routine, then watch them dance it. This is the only mid-year tryouts we are planning to have for this year.
Please make sure to get your grades and NCs in order. We will check in 2 weeks to verify you have at least a 2.5 GPA for the 1st term and no Fs or NCs. Come talk with us if you have any questions about this team policy.
We have only received BYU entry forms from a few people. Everyone on team is required to compete at the BYU competition. Since the Friday deadline has passed to give us your forms, it is your responsibility to get the form to BYU by mail or by taking it in person. Please let us know if you are dancing in an open event and haven’t given us your form yet.

We are going to be teaching Cha Cha to a ward mutual night tonight from 7 to 8 pm. The address is 1035 South 800 East in Orem (across the street from University Mall). Here is a link to a map.

I forgot to tell you today in team that the teaching opportunity that we thought was last week turned out to be this week. A ward in Orem would like us to come teach them Cha Cha tomorrow (Wednesday) night at 7 pm. (don’t have the address yet) Please call or email to let us know if you could come help us teach tomorrow night from 7-8pm.
We will have the team party tomorrow night (10/15/08) at Kim’s house at 8:00 pm. Check your email or your cell for her address. Don’t forget to bring some food if you signed up for it. Bring your ping pong paddles. Brad has never been beaten!
We’ll also have a costume contest with prizes!
Just a reminder to pay for the team pants if you signed up for them. Try to pay for them ASAP. They should be $20 like last year. But I still working out some details with the vendor. I’ll let you know if they are a dollar to two more. Hopefully they shouldn’t be. Remember that we are not going to order your pants if you have not paid for them. I plan to have the order turned in by the end of this week. So have your money in by Friday morning.
